Following the release of the "Closing the Gap" study and the federal government intervention into the Northern Territory, CMT's team of regulatory specialists worked alongside the local project team to develop a business case to dramatically improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.  This enabled the department to re-focus on its core mandate of regulating the liquor and gaming industry and serving the NT community.
