Managing Successful Product Projects

Government agencies are increasingly acknowledging that IT product implementations are a cost effective, low risk and timely option for meeting business requirements compared to bespoke IT developments.  But simply implementing a product does not ensure success. 

Many agencies approach product implementation using methodologies that are better suited to bespoke development projects, with disastrous results.

This is the second paper in a three part series which explores the benefits and issues associated with product implementations.  This paper will highlight some of the key considerations when undertaking a product implementation.
